regarding the transit strike:

At Grand Central station, Christine Angeli, an editor for Martha Stewart Magazine who was born in France, said her relief that the strike was temporarily forestalled was nearly offset by her fear that the New York area might turn into her home country, in which labor disputes are common.
"I'm still trying to figure out the details," she said "But it should be illegal." She added "it's very selfish."
